Password-protecting a link
Require a password before a visitor is redirected.
You can lock any link so only people with the password reach the destination — useful for private downloads, draft pages or paid resources.
Steps
- Edit the link and open the Protection options.
- Enter a password.
- Save.
Visitors now see a simple password screen first. The password is stored securely (hashed) and never shown again, so keep your own copy. Remove the password any time to make the link public again.
Clicks on a protected link are still counted, so you keep full analytics.
