Enabling two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) means signing in needs both your password and a code from your phone, so a stolen password alone is not enough.

Set it up

1. Open Account → Security.
2. Click Enable two-factor authentication.
3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
5. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — they let you back in if you lose your phone.

From then on, you will enter a code from the app each time you sign in on a new device.
